Konstella: Your Hub for Woodin PTA Communication
Konstella (available as a website or mobile app) is the primary communication platform used by the Woodin PTA. Think of it as a school newsletter, directory, private Facebook group, Eventbrite, and SignUpGenius—all in one place.
It’s the easiest way to:
Receive announcements from the PTA
Stay informed about what’s happening in your child’s classroom
Sign up for school and community events
Discover volunteer opportunities
Connect with other Woodin families
To join, visit https://www.konstella.com, click “Find Your School,” search for Woodin Elementary, and enter your child’s information so our admins can verify your account.
Getting Started in Konstella
Mobile App Overview
School Tab
Announcements, events, and sign‑ups for your school and classrooms.
Messages Tab
All your group conversations in one place.
Directory Tab
Look up parents, browse committees (iPhone), and explore social groups.
Settings (top left icon)
Manage your account and your child’s information.
Join Your Child’s Classroom
Make sure your child is placed in the correct classroom so you receive class‑specific updates.
On the Web:
Click your name (top left) → Your Children → Add or update your child.
On the Mobile App:
Tap Settings (top left) → Your Children.
Join a Committee
On the Web:
Click the green “Committees” link on the left menu → Select a committee → Join or remove yourself.
On the Mobile App:
Go to the Directory tab → Browse Committees → Join any committee that interests you.
Messaging in Konstella
Send a Message to a Group
On the Web:
Use the left‑hand menu to select a group → Type your message.
To create a new private group, click the + next to “Private Messages.”
On the Mobile App:
Go to the Messages tab → Select a group to post.
To start a new private group, tap the + in the top right corner.
Send a Private Message
On the Web:
Click the + next to “Messages” in the left menu.
On the Mobile App:
In the Messages tab, scroll to the bottom → Send Private Messages.
